ZM-5 Retarding Superplasticizer

ZM-5 is an efficient retarding superplasticizer compounded by water-reducing, retarding ingredients and other ingredients, characterized by good dispersibility on cement particles, high water-reducing rate, retarding and low air entraining content. It does not contain chlorine salt, without corrosion effect on reinforcing steel and has good adaptability to cement. It can be widely applied to foundation engineering, highways, dams, wharfs, commodity concrete and large-volume concrete.

II. Main technical performance

1. Mixing amount: liquid product: 1.2-2.5% of weight of gelled materials, powder product: 0.6-1.2% of weight of gelled materials, water-reducing rate: 15-25%.

2. Under the normal temperature, final setting time of concrete mixed with ZM-5 can be prolonged for 2-8h.

3. Under the same mixture ratio and same slump, 3d and 7d strength of concrete can be increased by 20-40% by adding ZM-5 and 28d strength by 20%.

4. Under the same strength and the same slump, 10-20% cement consumption can be saved by adding ZM-5.

5. Slight slump loss of concrete mixed with ZM-5, which is beneficial to transport of commodity concrete and construction of large-volume concrete.

6. With good adaptability to concrete, it can be applied to all kinds of concretes that satisfy the national standard.

7. Satisfy GB8076—2008 and TJS [2005] No. 160 Standard.

III. Scope of application

Commodity concrete, pumping concrete, large-volume concrete, pile foundation concrete, pre-stressed concrete, especially concrete under construction in summer and in hot areas.

IV. Usage and precautions

1. It shall be added with mixing water at the same time.

2. The setting time can be adjusted according to different mixing amount, which can be appropriately increased under high temperature.

3. Independent use is not suitable under low temperature and it shall be mixed with early strength agent.

V. Package and storage

1. This product is non-ignitable, anti-freezing and pollution-free and ensures safety during transport, storage and usage.

2. Package: iron drum for liquid product, net weight: 250±1kg; woven bags for powder product, net weight: 40kg.

3. Shelf life: 2 years.
