Triphenylmethyl Chloride
Triphenylmethyl chloride is one of the basic organic raw materials commonly used in the field of non-pharmaceutical chemical industry. In the process of organic chemical industry and drug synthesis, it can be used as the selective protecting group of primary hydroxyl group, amine group and sulfhydryl group in compounds such as nucleoside, monosaccharides or polysaccharides, as well as the basic chemicalbook agent in the synthesis of polypeptide. After using triphenylchloromethane as a protective reagent in the process of organic chemical and drug synthesis, in the process of removing the triphenylmethyl protective group in acidic solution, usually generates triphenylmethyl alkyl ether such as triphenylmethyl methyl ether, triphenylmethyl ethyl ether, triphenylmethyl propyl ether and other byproducts.
