SLITTING LINE
Slitting line is special equipment for cutting a metal coil into several narrower strips simultaneously which are suitable for further work in mills, roll forming or machining processes.
To optimize productivity high-capacity decoilers, quick tooling change of slitters, totally-automated coil extractors and quality diagnosis systems are available. A full computed-controlled slitting line can reach up to 400 m/min.
This lines work for carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and other metals, exposed, galvanized or prepainted coil. For thicknesses up to 15mm and widths up to 2000mm
A slitting line can be described by: 1. Feeding material width x thickness
2. Number of strips
3. Degree of automation.
Standard features:
- Slitting lines perform basic processes of straightening and recoiling tasks. Or to split heavy metal coils into lighter ones.
- Metallic fences and electric interlocker to ensure safe operation
- Key mechanical/electrical components from world class suppliers, upon customer's request.
- English/Spanish/Portuguese/Polish/Russian/Chinese complete user's manual.
