Q235 Steel Pipe
Q235 steel pipe are used to deliver low-pressure fluids. Such steel is generally smelted by the converter or open-hearth furnace. The main raw material is molten iron and scrap steel. The content of sulfur and phosphorus in steel is higher than that of high-quality carbon structural steel. Generally, sulfur is ≤0.050% and phosphorus is ≤0.045%.
What is equivalent to Q235 steel pipe?
Usually, the steel pipe q235 can be substituted with equivalent materials that include ASTM A36 and JIS SS400.
How strong is the q235 ?
Q235 is basically a structural steel grade usually used in bridges. The yield strength of Q235 steel is around 423 MPa and Ultimate Tensile strength about 479 MPa. It is up to the structural grade.
