The client, a long-term partner from a Vietnamese agency, required express shipping, and we secured the first order at a very favorable price.

However, the booking process was extremely urgent. The Vietnamese client confirmed the need for space at around 4 pm on Friday, June 16th, and demanded the SO on the same day, or else his client would cancel the booking. Normally, it takes at least half a day to a full day to secure space, but as professional international freight forwarders in China, we were able to handle this challenge.

After receiving the BOOKING at 5 pm, we immediately emailed Matson Shanghai. The team at Matson Shanghai processed the space release in their system and required Vietnam's operations team to issue the documents for container release. This process involved some delay due to the back-and-forth emails and the fact that both Matson's Shanghai and Vietnam document departments were off duty. Unexpectedly, the document teams in both locations worked on their laptops from the subway to assist with the space release, ensuring it was done on the same day. By 7: 30 pm Beijing time, we successfully secured the space, which was around 6: 30 pm in Vietnam. We promptly sent the SO to the client and notified them by phone that we had secured the SO and sent it to their email.
