What Is Chafer Fabric
Chafer Fabrics are specialized textiles primarily crafted from RFL-dipped Nylon 6 or Nylon 66. Chafer Fabric find application in tire manufacturing to shield the tire's sidewalls from abrasion caused by the friction between the bead wires and the tire rim.
Application of Chafer Fabric
Chafer fabrics are mainly used in the tyre beads, specially to protect the side wall of tyres. It protects the tyre from damages during the fitting or removal operations by Rim and Wheel assembly. At the same time, due to its mesh construction, it's also widely used in rubber board and rubber tubs etc.
