ASTM D3654 shearing tester
ASTM D3654 shearing tester is for the test of lasting adhesive of pressure sensitive adhesive tapes, labels and other interrelated products.
Standard: ASTM D3654
The test plate with adhesive specimen is vertically hanged on the stand and its bottom is attached with a standard weight. The lasting adhesive property could be obtained by measuring the displacement of specimen on vertical test plate or the time to failure at the load.
