What Is an Magnetic Separator and How Does It Work ?
Electromagnetic overband separator is a specialized device that uses an electromagnetic system to generate a magnetic field for separating iron magnetic impurities.
It is mainly installed above conveyors in cement, lime, coal and other industries to adsorb iron magnetic impurities from bulk materials (like limestone, coal) onto the belt, then let impurities fall into the collection hopper at the non-magnetic end for separation.
It has advantages of strong magnetic force, automatic operation, easy installation and low maintenance, effectively protecting production equipment and ensuring material purity.
