In the two shot molding process , there is at least five main elements are essential:

1. The plastic part analysis and mould evaluation.

Before the mould design, part analysis and mould evaluation are very necessary, we normally work from part appearance, dimension and geometry shape.

2. The mould structure

Good mould design should first meet customers' requirements, and save costs for the factory, reduce processing difficulty and shorten customers' lead time. 3. Steel selection for double shot mould

Steel is very critical for two-shot mold. The steel should have features of toughness, wear resistance, high-temperature performance, fatigue fracture properties, resistance to cold & heat, corrosion resistance.

4. Tools processing, fitting and assembly

In addition to good mould design and steel selection reasonable, the accuracy of the two-shot mould is also very critical in subsequent processing, fitting and assembly.
