Trunnion Ball Valve

The trunnion mounted ball valve is a new generation high-performance ball valve, suitable for long t ransportation pipelines and ordinary industrial pipelines. Special consideration has been given to i ts strength, safety, resistance to severe conditions during design. It is suitable for various corro sive and non-corrosive media.

Different from floating ball valve, during the work of the trunnion mounted ball valve, the acting f orce produced by before-valve fluid pressure on the ball will be tatlly transferred to the bearing s o that the ball will not move towards the seat. Therefore, the seat will not bear too high pressure. With such features as low torque, low seat deformation, stable sealing performance and long service life, teh trunnion performance and long service life, the trunnion mounted ball valve is suitable f or high pressure and large size applications. The advanced spring preloaded seat assembly is provide d with the self-tightening feature, realizing upstream sealing. Each valve has two seats, which real ize sealing at each direction. Therefor,there is no limit to the flow direction during installation.

The trunnion mounted ball valves adopt two kinds of body structures such as two-piece type and three -piece type. The middle flange is bolted. Reinforced PTFE is embedded as the seal into the stainless steel ring. The spring is mounted at the back of the steel ring to ensure that the seat is kept clo se to the ball and maintain sealing. The upper and lower stems are provided with the PTFE bearing, w hich reduces friction with labor-saving operation. The adjusting piece is set at the bottom of the s mall shaft to ensure the position where the ball contacts the seal ring.
