Trioctyl phosphate is widely used as a flame retardant, plasticizer and extractant in the production of chemical companies, and its most important use lies in the production of hydrogen peroxide. Trioctyl phosphate, as a solvent for hydroanthraquinone, combines the conditions of high solubility of hydroanthraquinone, high partition coefficient of hydrogen peroxide between water and solvent, high boiling point and high ignition point.
