Thiamidol
Thiamidol (also known as Isobutylamido Thiazolyl Resorcinol) is a patented and highly effective skin lightening ingredient developed by Beiersdorf, the parent company of Eucerin. It is designed to combat hyperpigmentation and reduce dark spots by targeting the root cause of melanin overproduction.
Clinical studies have shown that Thiamidol can significantly reduce hyperpigmentation and dark spots on all skin types. For example, in a study on UVB-induced hyperpigmentation, Thiamidol-treated skin showed significantly less hyperpigmentation compared to untreated skin after UVB exposure. Additionally, improvements in skin tone were observed within as little as two weeks of regular use.
