High brightness panel computers, also known as sunlight readable panel PC, are designed to operate in very bright environments, like in daylight time. Sunlight Readable computers typically provide at least 800 nits of brightness, compared with typical industrial panel computers with 200-300 nits.

Amongo's high brightness panel PCs can also be equipped with a light sensor for auto brightness dimming, so to save energy and extend the life span of the LCD panel.
