Steel Torsion Spring

These springs are a type of torque spring that has two coils separated by a space to minimize friction. These consist of a right-hand and a left-hand coil section connected together and working in parallel. The sections are designed separately with the total torque exerted being the sum of the two, thus called double torsion springs.
