Description:
It is a type of coupling designed to transmit torque while damping system vibrations, which protects other components from damage. Spider couplings are composed of three parts: two metallic hubs and an elastomer insert called spider. The three parts press fit together with a jaw from each hub fitted alternately with the lobes of the spider. The curved jaws of the hubs reduce deformation of the spider to maintain the zero-backlash fit.
Spider coupling is mainly for dry start frequently, rotating, high-speed, medium torque and require high reliability in the workplace, such as Mining & Metallurgical, Mine, petroleum, chemicl industry, overweight, transportation, light industry, weaving, water pump, fan etc.
Types: LM, LMS, LMD, LMZI, LMZII are available
