Sodium tert-butoxide

Sodium tert-butoxide is a white to off-white powder, widely used as a strong base in chemical, pharmaceutical, pesticide and organic synthesis in condensation, rearrangement and ring opening reactions. Stable at room temperature and pressure, avoid contact with strong reducing agent, moisture, air and acid. Slightly harmful to water, avoid letting undiluted or large quantities of the product come into contact with groundwater, watercourses or sewage systems; if there is no government permit, do not discharge the material into the surrounding environment. Used as organic synthesis intermediates, pharmaceutical intermediates; as a strong base widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, pesticide and other organic synthesis in the condensation, rearrangement and ring-opening reaction.
