Description:
Sesamin is a magic ingredient in sesame seeds representing strong anti-oxidation. It is a non-competitive inhibitor of 5-desaturase, which hastens the metabolism of ethanol and increases the activity of fat-metabolizing enzymes. Thus sesamin inhibits the formation of fatty liver. Sesamin is also helpful for protecting blood vessels by scavenging free radicals and ensuring efficient nutrient and oxygen delivery for healthy brain function.
