Tetrahydropyrrole, with the chemical formula C4H9N, is a colorless or yellow liquid with a special smell. It turns yellow easily when exposed to light or moist air. It is easily soluble in water and ethanol. It is corrosive and flammable.
Tetrahydropyrrole has the properties and reactions of general amines. It has extremely wide applications in medicine, food, pesticides, daily chemicals, coatings, textiles, printing and dyeing, papermaking, photosensitive materials, polymer materials, desulfurizers, zeolite template materials and other fields.
