Powdered Cyanuric Acid

Properties:
White crystals, precipitated from water, with two crystal waters. Slightly bitter taste, basically non-toxic, soluble in hot water, slightly soluble in cold water, acidic aqueous solution, soluble in potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide aqueous solution, insoluble in cold , ether, benzene and other organic solvents.
Use:
(1). Mainly used in the manufacture of cyanuric acid bromide, chloride, bromochloride, iodochloride and their cyanurates and esters.
(2). Used in the synthesis of new bactericidal disinfectants, water treatment agents, bleaching agents, chlorinating agents, brominating agents, antioxidants, paint coatings, selective herbicides and metal cyanide moderators.
(3). It can also be directly used as a swimming pool chlorine stabilizer, nylon, plastic, polyester flame retardant and cosmetic additive, and the synthesis of special resins.
