Dans l'industrie alimentaire pour la fabrication d'exquis chocolat au lait. il est en outre utilisé pour les articles de confiserie, les biscuits, les articles de boulangerie, les glaçages et divers produits laitiers tels que la crème glacée et le fromage fondu, sauces, yaourts, lait callé…
