ACSR core cable features aluminium bare conductor of outside layers for electric power transmitting with steel wire of inside layer for reinforcing. The base material for steel wire could be fully-killed steel: zinc-coated (galvanized-GZ), Aluminium-coated (Aluminized AZ) and Aluminum-clad (AC). ACSR can be added grease for additional corrosion protection.
