Oil to Water Heat Exchanger
The most effective fluid to stabilize the operating temperature in oil systems is water. Water/ Oil plate heat exchangers are used to cool down hydraulic oil or other fluids using water as a cooling medium. Internal cooling circuits as typically found in large production facilities and other cooling water sources supply water at temperatures that provide sufficient delta T compared to the oil input temperature.
