Dès que la tranche de sécurité TSC est activée, le faisceau infrarouge entre les cellules émettrices et réceptrices est coupé.
La cellule émettrice est alimentée par 1 pile 9 V et peut être couplée à 1 cellule solaire.
Ce disposif remplace les systèmes d'enrouleurs, de rails conducteurs..
