Hot Rolled Steel Bar

Hot rolling refers to the process in which the steel is rolled above the recrystallization temperature. After cooling at room temperature, the hot rolled alloy steel round bar is normalized and cooled to become a hot rolled steel rod product. If the application is not strict on diameter tolerance and surface finish, the cost of hot rolled steel square bar, hot rolled steel flat bar and hot rolled steel round bar is lower than that of cold finished bars. Hot rolled bars are ideal materials for many forging and machining applications, such as in fasteners, bolts, connecting rods, hydraulics, fittings, gear blanks, shafts, hubs, pistons, etc.
