Made from forged die-cast aluminum, perfect for absorbing and distributing heat evenly and quickly. Marble coating is also energy efficient as a primary base aluminum material because it absorbs thermal energy quickly reducing cooking times. The inner surface does not fade, does not change the taste of food, does not change the nutritional value of food. It is PTFE and PFOA free and can cook from zero to minimal oil and fat, making it health conscious cookware. The lid is made of tempered glass with a steam hole and reinforced with a stainless steel side lid that locks in steam and flavor on your dish. A flavor button is built into the center of the lid allowing a flavor solution to flow slowly as it refines the flavor of the roast.
