The specific applications are as follows: (1) In medicine, it is mainly used in the production of anti-inflammatory drugs for osteoarthritis, anti-tumor drugs for the treatment of colon and rectal cancer, and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular drugs such as lenoprolol; (2) In pesticides, it is mainly used to manufacture cell division inhibitors and is used to kill grass and broadleaf weeds in cotton and peanut fields; (3) In organic synthesis, ETFA is often used to protect amino groups because it has a low removal rate under mild conditions.
