Ethyl trifluoroacetate
As an important organic chemical raw material, ETFA is widely used in the synthesis of organic fluorine compounds, medicine, pesticides, liquid crystals and dyes. The specific applications are as follows: (1) In medicine, it is mainly used in the production of anti-inflammatory drugs for osteoarthritis, anti-tumor drugs for the treatment of colon and rectal cancer, and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular drugs such as lenoprolol; (2) In pesticides, it is mainly used to manufacture cell division inhibitors and is used to kill grass and broadleaf weeds in cotton and peanut fields; (3) In organic synthesis, ETFA is often used to protect amino groups because it has a low removal rate under mild conditions.
