Elastomeric bearing pad is divided into two types - non-reinforced elastomeric bearing pad and elastomeric bearing with steel plates. They are manufactured from neoprene, natural rubber or others and widely used in the bridges. Elastomeric bearing pad is designed to minimize the effect of vibration on the structure and to dissipate noise, also it shear deformation to accommodate the horizontal displacement of the superstructure.Feature
