The Coramate is a computerized medical device to obtain large core soft tissue samples from the human breast in order to detect breast cancer at the earliest stages. The procedure is completely automated with full control over the needle movements. In addition to the direct frontal approach of the suspect lesion, the helix harvests with a 360 degree vacuum. The system is self containing without tubings or console. The needles are MRI safe and conditional. The power is generated with Li-batteries. The Coramate is FDA and CE approved.
