Coil Preparation Line Details

The emergence of a retractable and large-tension coiler has controlled the pressure on the surface of the reel, but the hoop pressure of the steel coil has increased rapidly due to the decrease in the rigidity of the reel. When it outreaches the limit, the steel coil loses its stability just above the jaws, causing the 'collapsing' phenomenon as trained. The collapse depth is generally dozens of layers. The consequences not only leave horizontal dead creases in these dozens of layers of strip steel, but also the instability of the strip can fracture the jaw plate and even break the jaw plate screws, thereby reducing the service life of the reel. The key to solving the collapse is to determine the critical hoop pressure of the innermost belt of the steel coil preparation line at the jaws of instability.
