Chinese double-sided silk embroidery table screen home decor
Double-sided embroidery is a special hand embroidery art from China, it requires ultimate skill and artistry. The stitching takes place on both sides of a single translucent silk fabric, the design shows on both sides (front and reverse) are exactly the same and all the joints are hidden and not visible so the reverse side can't be distinguished.
The embroidery piece is protected by two pieces of glass and then fixed on a beautiful hand carved wood frame, the central part can be revolving and you could appreciate the picture from each direction.
