A
Conventionally, the viscosity of carbomer 980 (CAS 54182 57 9) is higher than that of carbomer 940 (CAS 9007 20 9), but the biggest difference between them is that carbomer 940 contains quantitative benzene, while carbomer 980 does not contain benzene, so enterprises with high requirements for product quality will prefer carbomer 980.

Normally, each carbomer model has a certain viscosity range, within which the higher concentration it has, the higher the viscosity will be, and you can increase the proportioning so as to reach higher viscosity.

How to eliminate the bubble of carbomer gel?
A
Many customers have bubble problems when configuring the carbomer gel. Bubbles are the air wrapped in the mixing process. If you don't want to have bubbles, the mixing can be slowed down. After the bubbles are discharged, they can be reduced in pressure (vacuum). After vacuum extraction and mixing, the bubbles are gone.
