Back up roll (heavy plate) are used on cold, warm, and hot leveler machines for heavy plates. The thick, poorly formed and heavily oxidised surfaces of the leveler machines place high demands on the load-bearing capacity, impact resistance, surface wear resistance, and sealing of the support rolls. Heavy plate leveling roll is an important part of the heavy plate leveling equipment. The supporting roll bears the straightening force generated during the straightening process. Due to the thickness of the strip, the shape of the plate is poor, and the surface of the oxide scale is a lot, the straightening process will have higher requirements on the bearing capacity, impact resistance, sealing and so on. If applied to the thermal straightening machine, it is also required that the support roller can withstand high temperature.
