88890020 interface for volvo with PTT developer HDD Software

Volvo Interface 88890020 is developed for Volvo and Mack heavy vehicles (trucks, buses, trailers) and egnines. Communication unit enables PC to vehicle communication, the device connects to the PC via USB cable or by WLAN using the 802.11 b/g connection standards. It's a great tool for all workshops that work with Volvo and Mack heavy vehicles, this tool also is used by Volvo and Mack dealers workshops. Wireless comunication allows you to work with any Volvo or Mack vehicles more mobile as possible in workshop or outside the workshop if it's necessary. 88890020 communication interface alows you to do diagnostic operations quickly thanks to high-quality Volvo-Mack software.

Before the 88890020 communication unit can be used, a driver must be installed on the PC. In addition, a utility application (Admin0020) can be used to check the status of the device and update the firmware if and when needed.
There are three different ways, described below, of connecting communication unit88890020.

Via USB-cable
Connect the communication unit to the vehicle.
Connect the USB-cable between the communication unit and the PC.
Select communication unit 88890020 and USB-cable setting in window Alternative.

Directly to the communication unit
Note: Your PC must have Wireless LAN 802.11b/g and support for 128 bit WEP (encryption), if it is to be used for direct communication with the communication unit. The Panasonic CF29 has this built into the motherboard. Additional Wireless LAN cards will be recommended in the future.
Connect the communication unit to the vehicle.
Select communication unit 88890020 and Direct to communication unit in window Alternative.

Security level Directly to the communication unit
Communication is performed using 128 bit WEP, Wired Equivalent Privacy. The WEP-key is generated automatically and is not seen during the configuration.
