It can be used in laboratory organic synthesis processes and chemical pharmaceutical research and development processes. It is mainly used to synthesize an intermediate of azasetron and palonosetron. It is used to treat and prevent nausea and vomiting after tumor radiotherapy and chemotherapy, as well as nausea and vomiting after surgery.
