Mokos Winery is located in the village of Palkonya, in Hungary. Throughout the last decade our family business became a significant actor in the famous Hungarian wine region. In this area the loess and laterite soil along with the sub-Mediterranean climate contribute to the production of excellent fruits and premium wines.
The family traditions supplemented with long years of product development made is possible to create the heavenly taste of tart cherry and plum wines. Right after harvesting, the fruits are freshly processed to ensure high quality. The cold fermentation is done in an oxygen-free environment provided by stainless steel tanks. The temperature control is important for maintaining the fresh taste, while the pressing, the multiple filtering, the bottling and our strict quality policy are all part of the sophisticated technology.
