FSR-01 Shrink Force and Ratio Tester Application
The FSR-01 serves to measure both shrinking forces and ratios of heat shrinkable films, typically made through extrusion and hot drawing during manufacture, retaining this state post-cooling. Upon reheating to the initial stress temperature, the film contracts or "shrinks back," categorized as biaxially or uniaxially oriented based on manufacturing treatment.
Test Process
1. Heat an insulated air oven to the set temperature. Place two samples separately on test stations for shrinkage rate and force testing.
2. Position a temperature probe for reference. The oven automatically covers the samples, measuring force and rate until the shrinkage temperature is reached.
3. When force decreases by around 15% to 30%, lift the oven and record time.
4. Assess shrinkage ratio in the meantime.
