History
Ghassoul (pronounced "rassoul") comes from the Arabic "ghassala" which means "to wash". It is a saponified clay (with cleaning power), the only known deposit in the world is located in Morocco, on the edge of the Middle Atlas, 200 km south of the city of Fez. Rhassoul is a natural rock, 100% ecological, known for its softening and cleaning properties, whose elaboration goes back to the 13th century.

Mixed with water or rose or jasmine water for more pleasure, the ghassoul becomes an ultra-gentle care that washes without aggressing the face, body and hair. For centuries, Oriental women (mainly Moroccan women) have used Rhassoul to gently cleanse, purify, revitalize and nourish their skin and hair. It is known for its astringent, absorbent and gentle properties.

Benefits
Natural product, the ghassoul does not contain chemical or industrial elements which can attack the skin. Consequently, it does not damage the protective film of the skin or the hair.
Known especially to clean the skin by absorbing the micro-organisms and by purifying them thanks to the saponins which it contains. It evacuates the excess of sebum in depth. It works particularly well on blackheads.
