Inclined plane coefficient of friction tester static friction testing machine

The incline plane coefficient of friction tester assesses the static coefficient of friction across various materials, utilizing an adjustable inclined plane and sliding block. It gauges the static COF of plastic films, sheets, rubber, paper, board, woven fabrics, wood, coatings, brake pads, and more.

Principle:
The static COF is determined by the angle at which one test surface initiates sliding against another inclined surface, with the incline steadily increasing at a constant rate. The resulting test outcome corresponds numerically to the tangent of that angle.

Conforms to ASTM D202, ASTM D4918, and TAPPI T815.
