Three stages of filtration —— Safe and healthy

Stage 1: Pre-filter

It can filter the impurities like micro-mud, rust and so on. It can lengthen the lifetime of built in filters.

Stage 2: UF Hollow Fiber Membrane

PP filter: open the filter bottom cap, take the old pp filter out with a swab, and put the new one inside, screw up the filter cover.

UF: take out the rubber tape and change the new filter. side, screw up the filter cover.

Carbon fiber: take out the rubber tape and change the new carbon fiber filter.

Q: How long is the shelf life?

A: Miniwell recommends sanitizing the filter before storing it. If you backwash the filter and then use it, bacteria from the city water will not grow.

Q: How often should I clean the filter?

A: For longer filter life, you should backwash and sanitize the filter after every outing.

Q: If the filter need to be changed ? How to know.

A: The filter element can be changed, so that will be more safe and healthy.

When the pp filter looks turns to yellow and black, that means it need to be changed.

And when the outlet water becomes very small, and it is hard to press the bar. That means the sencond class filter is jammed. After changing the second class filter, if the outlet water becomes again very small you should change the third class filter.

Q: Can I put the filter on a different / smaller bottle?

A: As long as the bottle has a "standard" thread you can. Most soda and disposable water bottles made worldwide use this thread.

Q: can you filter salt water?

A: The diameter of salt is very very small, less than 0.01um, miniwell can just decrease the salinity.
