Detection Kit for Monkeypox Virus DNA (PCR-Fluorescence Probing)

Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is the preferred laboratory test given its accuracy and sensitivity which suggested by WHO. Confirmation of PCR test for monkeypox virus infection is based on nucleic acid amplification testing (NAAT), using real-time or conventional polymerase chain reaction (PCR) like monkeypox detection kit is preferred for detection of unique sequences of viral DNA and can be used alone.

①　Specimen collection: take the rash cover or scab, put it into a specimen collection tube, then seal the tube and send it for inspection.

②　Specimen processing and nucleic acid extraction: using nucleic acid extraction kit and instrument to obtain purified MPOX DNA.

③　PCR amplification: PCR reagent preparation and using extracted MPOX nucleic acid as PCR template

④　Result analysis
