Fiber Optic Splice and Joint Enclosure Box is a fiber management product typically used with outdoor fiber optical cables and underground fiber splice enclosure. It provides space and protection for the fiber optic cable splicing and joint. Fiber splice closure is used for aerial, strand-mount FTTH "tap" locations where drop cables are spliced to distribution cables.

There are mainly two types are available for Copperled, horizontal types and dome type (also called vertical type). Horizontal types are more popular than vertical type (dome type) closures. The capacity of splice is from 24 fiber to max 192 fiber.

There have outdoor fiber splice box, 3m splice case, optical fiber splice closure, fiber optic joint enclosure, underground fiber splice enclosure, outdoor fiber splice enclosure, fiber optic splice enclosure, fiber optic joint enclosure box,etc.
