What materials do we need when make conveyor belt pulley lagging ? Now most of the pulley lagging is done by cold vulcanizing way .


In terms of materials for pulley lagging , firstly we will think of cold vulanizing glue.


Ramimtech sk313 is one type ideal glue for pulley lagging . It will have vulcanizing action with CN bonding layer of pulley lagging rubber sheet ,


which will make rubber sheet be fused on the drum, and they two become one.so the rubber sheet won't easily becoming unglued.


The curing speed of sk313 is severial times of common glue .Its temperature range is -40℃-120℃,can be used in extreme environment.


And it is with perporty of flame resistance.These are the main reasons of many companies choose this glue.



Cleaning solution is used before brushing glue for get a deeper clean on surface of drum,so that there will be a better bonding between drum and rubber sheet .


Metal primer also named metal treatment , it have no bonding proterty itself, mainly used as transition between drum and rubber sheet , and exponentially increase bonding effect


between them .


As for pulley lagging rubber sheet, there are three type: wear-resistant rubber sheet , diamond type and caramic type .


Wear resistant rubber sheet is both wear-resistant and impact-resistant, is suitable for drive drum coating in middle or high tension conveyor belt system.


Diamond rubber sheet is with diamond pattern on the surface, which will increase the coefficient of sliding friction, reduce the slippage between the drum and conveyor belt,


and is suitable for drive drum coating in fabric conveyor belt system and middle or low tension steel cord conveyor belt system.


Caramic rubber sheet is with Al2O3 ceramic square embedded on the rubber surface, which is with is best wear-resistant, and can protect conveyor belt well.


It is suitable for high strength and high tension conveyor system,and for extreme bad environment.


Because the diamond rubber sheet is more wear-resistant than plate type, can prevent slippery, and its price is much lower than ceramic type,


it became the first choice of pulley lagging in most enterprises.


12mm diamond wear resistance rubber sheet is with CN bonding layer on the side bonded to drum. With the bonding effect of cold vulcanizing glue SK313,rubber sheet will be bond to drum firmly.


and we needn't worry about tackless etc.
