Butyl acetate is a spice raw material used to prepare banana, pineapple, apricot, peach and strawberry flavors. It is used in food and is a edible flavoring that is allowed to be used as specified in my country's GB2760-1996. It is also a solvent for natural gum, synthetic resin, nitrocellulose, artificial leather, photographic film base, plastic, spices and medicines.
