System Overview
The MLT-01 micro leak tester utilizes a network of conduits and valves to connect the test chamber to a high-resolution pressure sensor and an external vacuum source. It includes a PLC control unit, an HMI touch screen, electronic controls, and integrates an external gas flow meter for system checks. The test chamber is purposefully designed to enclose the test package securely and can incorporate tooling for added stability.

Testing Procedure
Begin by placing the sample in the MLT-01 micro leak tester's chamber and initiating negative pressure during the FILL stage. Once the desired negative pressure is achieved, the SETTLE stage begins, allowing components to adjust. Following settling, the vacuum decay TEST phase commences to measure any pressure increase. Finally, in the VENT stage, remaining negative pressure is released into the atmosphere. Samples either PASS or FAIL based on specified criteria.
