Maraging Steel is an ideal material for many industries, like tooling industries.

Eplus3D's maraging steel powders include 18Ni300/1.2709 and 13Ni400. These powders have been tested for use on Eplus3D's 3d metal printer. Eplus3D also offers a wide range of validated processes for each of the above materials to ensure that the performance of the 3D printed parts is fully met.

Parts printed using Eplus3D MaragingSteel 18Ni300 / 1.2709 show excellent mechanical properties and fatigue strength being heat treatable to various needs to obtain application appropriate hardness and strength.

Tensile Strength: XY: 1100±100MPa; Z: 1100±100MPa

Yield strength: XY: 1050±50MPa; Z: 1000±50MPa

Elongation @ Break 12±3%

Parts printed using Eplus3D MaragingSteel 13Ni400 show very good mechanical properties being easily heat treatable using a simple thermal age-hardening process to obtain excellent hardness and strength.

Yield strength: XY: 1252.5±27.5MPa; Z: 1117.5±84.5MPa
