How to Use Plastic Drum Cap Seal

The plastic drum cap seal is over the steel plug or plastic bung on the drum neck. It is necessary for users to tell the neck diameter of the HDPE drums, while the steel drum necks are standardized to be G2 and G3/4.

General type of cap seal can be put on neck by hand push, one special type of plastic cap seal with ring needs to be crimped tightly by crimping tool. When opening the seals, a removal tool is required to tear it off for the strong cap, while another more conventional type can be removed by hand as well.
