The wind farm is situated in a mountain, unforested area near Sliven, Bulgaria. Altitude: 750m to 900m. It is easily accessible via paved road. There are 5 fully functioning wind generators: # 3 wind generators NEG Micon NM60 - 1000 KW each - functioning since 2006; # 1 wind generator Nordtank - 500 KW - functioning since 2004; # 1 wind generator Bonus - 450 KW - functioning since 2004; In October 2007 two new wind generators will be mounted: VENSYS 1200 KW each – hub height: 85m; rotor diameter: 64m The wind farm is connected to two 20 KV power lines - 95 mm2 each. The nearest electric station is 20 km away from the wind farm -110 / 20 KV. It can be easily extended. There are 40 fixed spots with complete, detailed plans plus construction permissions for mounting wind generators with total capacity 70 MW to 80 MW. Also there are several other spots where wind turbines with total capacity 50 MW can be mounted.
