1) Products: TROPICAL HARDWOODS LOGS

- Characteristics of the product: Logs freshly cut. The Logs have Heartwood and the sapwood and bark. The Bark and Sapwood remain on logs to avoid cracks on Surface. Each log is sealed by wax at both ends to prevent cracks on the tops during transit time from port of loading to port of destination.

* Note: These goods are much more suitable raw materials for Customers who want to have good quality in Logs, as well as, customers who want to have a good and high yield in the production of Rough Sawn Wood, Planed Wood (S4S) when their objective is the production of final products, such as: Solid wood flooring; Furniture (home & office); Interior home stair; Banister & handrail for stairs; Interior decoration (products and items of high class); Furniture and Interior decoration for Yacht; Musical instruments & parts of the musical instruments; and other high-class wooden products. As well as, Sliced veneer, Lamella wood, etc.

- Quality: A-grade and better.

- Sizes on cargos type N0. 01:

a) Diameters = 20cm up to 25cm, & from 26cm up to 45cm and up.

b) Lengths = 150cm up to 240cm and longer.

- Sizes on cargos type N0. 02:

a) Diameters = from 250mm up to 450mm and up.

b) Lengths = 240cm and longer.

- Capacity of loading = about 26 Tons in each 40'CNTR.

- Our wood species: These goods are made from:

. Argentine Osage Orange (Chlorophora tinctoria): Heartwood has yellow color when freshly sawn, turning on few days on golden brown to dark brown, on exposure. *Particularity: Also contains the dye, maclurin, long used as a yellowish-brown or khaki dye.

. Balsam of Tolu / Santos Mahogany (Myroxylon balsamum): This specie has a smell (good and pleasant smell). Heartwood is red brown, becoming to the deep red upon on exposure; fairly uniform to stripped.

. Brazilian Hickory / Pecan (Patagonula americana): Heartwood is light brown, with faint darker streaks. It's suggested as a substitute for black walnut is dark brown to almost black on exposure, often with darker streaks. It is very similar to American Black Walnut concerning to the color and the design of the veins.

. Brazilian Oak / Yviraro (Pterogyne nitens): Color is Light pinkish brown or flesh-colored when fresh, deepening upon exposure and suggesting Mahogany (Switenia spp); often with darker striping.

. Castelo Boxwood / Palo Blanco (Calicophyllum multiflorum): Heartwood is a light brown to pale yellowish color.

. Granadillo / Macawood (Platymiscium pinnatum): Heartwood is bright red, purplish-red, or light reddish-brown, often with darker variegated red or purple streaks and fine veins.

. Guanacaste / Elephant-ear tree (Enterolobium cyclocarpum): Heartwood is light to medium brown, sometimes with a reddish hue. Darker streaks of brown are usually present.

. Guayacan / Brow Ebony (Caesalpinia paraguariensis): Heartwood is dark brown to almost black on exposure, often with darker streaks. It is very similar to American Black Walnut concerning to the color and the design of the veins.

. Kurupay/ Patagonian Rosewood (Anadenanthera spp. syn. Piptadenia spp.): Heartwood is initially pale brown, but it darkens upon exposure to reddish brown with darker colored, almost black streaks which give the wood a very attractive appearance. The reddish-brown wood bears a superficial resemblance to old Mahogany (Swietenia).

. Lapacho / Brazilian Walnut (Tabebuia spp.): Heartwood is olive brown to blackish, often with lighter or darker striping, darkening to grayish-green or brownish-olive on exposure.

. Lignum vitae / Palo Santo (Bulnesia sarmientoi): This specie has a smell Good and pleasant smell). Heartwood is greenish and It is often beautifully figured with blackish green fine veins.

. Mesquite / South American Itin (Prosopis nigra): Heartwood tends to be a medium to chocolate brown, often marked with darker strips. Color tends to darken with age. Somewhat reminiscent of Black Walnut.

. Saman / Monkey pod /Arbre à pluie (Samanea saman): Heartwood tends to be a golden to dark brown, with beautiful darker streaks.

. Tigerwood Urunday / Muiracatiara (Astronium spp.): Heartwood is red brown turning to dark brown, often with darker veins.

. Walnut (Juglans australis): The heartwood is chocolate-brown and generally darker than the North American black walnut (Juglans nigra), sometimes with a purplish cast.
