SOKOYO, solar light manufacturer, solar street lights have been widely used on highways, freeways, rural roads, neighborhood streets, etc. As high-quality road solar lights, SOKOYO's lights can be seen as environment-friendly products that provide security and sustainability.
IOT based automatic street lighting system is short for the Internet of Things. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a network of uniquely identifiable physical objects (things) that are internet worked to achieve control and information exchange via an information carrier based on standard communication protocols. IoT allows a wide variety of devices to create seamless communication and contextual interactions remotely across the existing network infrastructure. Automatic street lighting system using iot enables all physical objects to act as uniquely addressable nodes and adds network functions to enhance and extend their main functionality. This feature introduces tremendous new capabilities and creates a number of opportunities by providing controllable and even personalized interoperability and manageability in today's Smart City and Smart Energy Management Systems.
ADVANTAGES OF IOT STREET LIGHT CONTROLLER SYSTEM
AUTOMATIC SWITCH
Automatic switching on/off the street light, without manual operation.
DIMMABLE FUNCTION
Setting different working times based on actual needs will save cost and power.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
Implementing wireless communication. No extra cables.
IOT SYSTEM
The IoT system contributes to the environmental protection with less CO2 discharge.
SAVE LABOR COST
The system has the ability to predict and diagnose the disfunction of the street light without personal on-site which saves labour cost
In this IoT Street Light Controller System, the street lights are automatically turned ON and OFF. The traditional HID lamps that draw an enormous amount of energy are now replaced with new LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes). The street lights work automatically by detecting the movements of objects on the street. IR sensor is used to detect the object. The system might include a DHT11 Temperature-Humidity sensor that provides exact information on the temperature and humidity of the region. DHT11 is a sensor that contains a digital output of the temperature and humidity. The LDR sensor and IR sensors are used to sense the light intensity and the objects of the particular area. It then transmits the data to the base station where energy gets stored using wireless technology.
